Turkish Press Release For Pandemic in Turkey 02.07.2020. Foreigners staying in Turkey beyond the e-Visa, Visa, |Visa-exempt| period or 90 days, should without delay apply online for e-ikamet Residence permit ID card to avoid ban on entry and fine during exit.

ANNOUNCEMENT TO FOREIGNERS UNABLE TO EXIT TURKEY DUE TO THE PANDEMIC.

  1. Foreigners who cannot leave our country due to the Covid-19 outbreak will not be prohibited from entering due to the violation of their legal right to stay between the dates of force majeure (including the dates when transportation is stopped to return to normal course).

  2. In this context, foreigners are required to leave Turkey within 1 (one) month from the date when transportation becomes possible in each country.

  3. If the specified period is exceeded, the entry ban and the administrative fine arising from the fees Law No. 492 will be applied.


JUNE 2020 TURKISH AIRLINES ANNOUNCEMENT FOR DOMESTIC FLIGHTS

  • Turkish Airlines, Sunexpress and Pegasus Airlines begin domestic flights on 01 June 2020.
  • Tourists require HES code downloaded from GooglePlay (and obtained by valid e-ikamet ID card 99 number) and passport for travels between cities on Bus and Air to board on domestic flights.

  • International flights starts 11 June to 19 countries, Austria, Albania, Bahrain, Belarus, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Moldova, Morocco, Qatar, Serbia, Sudan, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and reconciliation with Italy.
  • Flights on 15 June starts to Germany, Austria, Azerbaijan, Czech Republic (Pull), Croatia, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Japan, Republic Of Northern Macedonia, Lithuania, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Singapore, Slovenia, Tajikistan.
  • Flights on 20 June starts to The Netherlands and Kazakhstan.
  • Flights on 22 June starts to Albania Bosnia, Herzegovina, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Ireland, Kyrgyzstan, Montenegro, Luxembourg, Latvia, Norway, Slovakia, South Korea.
  • Flights on 24 June starts to Belgium.


JULY 2020 TURKISH AIRLINES ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS

  • In July total 103 Destinations with 572 frequency flights per week to 74 countries will increase.

  • From July 1, 2020, THY will operate 5 flights per week to USA New York and three regular flights per week to Chicago. Flights from Los Angeles, Houston, Miami, San Francisco, Washington DC , Canada to Montreal, Toronto also begin from this date.

  • Some destinations will not be as busy as they used to be, but the number of flights will not be down from three days a week.
  • The number of flights abroad, which began in June, is also quite large.
